Coding got cheap. Craft got scarcer.
For decades, services scaled through headcount, with armies of people producing software at volume. The constraint was human capacity and the pyramid was the answer.
AI changed that constraint. The work that once required scale can now be done by agents. What grew even more valuable was judgment: knowing what to build, when the output is right, where the risk lives, and who owns the result.
We don’t build pyramids
So we built a different shape. If judgment is the scarce input, the firm should be widest where the judgment sits. The old model put its widest band at the bottom. We put ours in the middle.
